Guidelines For Joining In The Celebration Of Mass
Hands are to be sanitised upon entering the church
Face masks are to be worn for Mass
The toilets in the church will be closed
There will be no sign of peace
Ushers will direct worshippers to Communion bench by bench
Communion is to be received on the hand only, if a person is unable to receive on the hand they are asked to remain in their seats and receive communion spiritually
At the end of the prayer “Lord I am not worthy …” The priest will hold up the host and say “The Body of Christ” We will all respond Amen. This means that during the distribution of Holy Communion the minister will not say “The Body of Christ” at all. Please extend your arms out in front of you as near to the Minister as possible to receive the Eucharist
At the end of Mass people are asked to leave in an orderly fashion as quickly as possible to ensure that we can close the church and clean it in time for the next mass
Please do not hang around in the church after mass
Follow the one way system as you leave the building
